I want to recompile my own and existing applications into WL-500GX device. How I can do this? Please send me step-by-step instructions or web resources.

You shouldŽnt have to do this.
The system looks equal to the software on both devices, nothing should be differend.The core insiede the Chip behaves like the one in the 500g just faster. The user space view of the vlan bridge should be like two independant network interfaces also, if this is needet by jour app.
