Adjust your wireless security settings. Use WEP or WPA-PSK with TKIP only.

Both at non-active, have xp sp1.

update your router to latest firmware,
reset router to defaults

please upgrade wireless card drivers if possible (remove driver first before upgrading)

try again with no modifications to your router configuration
and please use Windows Zero Configuration

That don`t work. Can it be the WL-138g (pci card) the problem is? I read reviews about isn`t so good.

Hi,

I experienced the same problem since I upgraded from firmware 1.9.2.7-1 to 1.9.2.7-3a. Tried all I could think of, but when I went back to 1.9.2.7-1, all worked fine again. Maybe you should try an that as well.

Good luck!!!

I experienced the same problem since I upgraded from firmware 1.8.2.4 to 1.9.2.7-3a (1.9.2.7-3b)
Look at (http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=1505)
I think problem i this:
1.9.2.7-1 (2004-12-17) WPA2 & WME disabled for now
1.9.2.7-2 (2004-12-26) WPA2 & WME enabled, but WPA is not fully functional

If you need 1.9.2.7-3* use WEP-128bit (it should be noteā - 60 sec!!!!!!!!!!! to get IP from DHCP)
or downgrade to 1.9.2.7-1 (1.8.2.4)

Thanks everyone!

Got it fixed now. I've just changed the encryption to 64-bits and thus gained 4 new WEP-keys, copied them to the encryption settings of the other pc and works fine. And update firmware to 1.9.2.7-3b.
