Bekijk de volledige versie : printers have died - can I fix with 1.8.1.9?

I'm using 1.8.1.9 - because I understand it's the only one that works with Telstra Bigpond's heartbeat.
And had canon bjc80 working on paralell with macs and pcs using LPRServer

Then a glitch in a PC restart caused some problems with a pc (now corrected) - perhaps this affected the WL500 too?
Because now - although the WL500 shows the Bjc80 as 'online'.
Nothing will print.
No PC or Mac (actually one mac document did get through after about a 30 sec delay - normally its about 8 secs delay)
The mac was set to lprserver at the time.
I have tried LPR and RAW (as per the WIN2000 FAQ printing guide)
I have checked all the printing preferences/properties
I have tried my bjc85 on the usb port
All to no avail - the jobs just sit in the print queue.
Can anyone help - I know there might be a firmware fix - but I don't want to lose my isp altogether!
Thank you
Peter
