It seems, that they deliver to EU countries, perhaps worldwide (?). I did not ordered an ASUS WL-500G Deluxe, but I am thinking about it.

Positive: The language of the shop can be changed to English and the currencies to USD or EUR during the order transaction.

Does someone have experiences with this shop?

Ordered Friday and sent them money via German Postbank, left their shop on monday, delivered yesterday (though it looks like they are out of stock currently). I was rather impressed with the speed, and they have a good hotline. Also, they have the matching PCMCIA card Wl-100g Deluxe in stock for 35 Euro, which was the main reason for ordering there. Porto and packaging costs are on the expensive side and costs roughly 10 Euro...

Just bought a WL500GX for 75.5 euros (VAT included) from Fox computer in Paris, see http://www.rue-montgallet.com/

I configured it in AP mode, works fine. Now I have to read FAQs on how to install nice firmware on it (I'm not even able to find out the hardware version information :confused: ).

WL-500 is a completely different model then the WL-500g or WL-500gx. The g and gx are using other hardware AFAIK and if I were you I wouldn't buy a WL500.

Shop www.alternate.es --> Hardware --> Redes (Network) --> Routers
It's a German group and probably they have the same products in Germany and other countries. www.alternate.net

Yo compre un WL_500g pero tienen el WL500gx en catalogo.

Es una cadena Alemana y es probable que compartan catalogo en todos los países que tiene tienda.

Went to http://www.ebug-europe.com/ and seach for "WL-500G Deluxe". You can get the WL-500G Deluxe for 82,07 Euro.
