cable internet+wifi client

I am about to buy asus wl-500g.
But, I need to use cable internet from WAN and simultaneously Wifi client mode in my PCs. Is it normally possible with some firmware?

I heard that setting "Home Gateway" mode for using cable internet cause wifi infunctionality.

I searched net for this issue, but I didnt find sure answer.

You can have WAN + wifi client mode, but ony one default route...
you need to telnet into the wl500g to start client mode, and define your route's.
