I have an Asus WL500gP and an WL500W
I currently use CDMA, but It seems that in my area now 3G+ from Orange is ~ 10x faster :o
I've used the Huawei E220 modem with WL500W and it's working great, but Huawei E220 doesn't support HSUPA.
On the other hand Option ICON III HSUPA (http://www.option.com/products/globesurfer_icon_hsupa.shtml) modem is better.
Can you help me with information how to use this modem with Asus WL500 ?
I've found this on one page:
The new Linux kernels (2.6.2x) will support an updated option
usbserial driver with built in support for this device and all other
Option USB sticks and cards. For older kernels it is simple to add
the device id to the option driver or usbserial.
