Hello.
I need some help quick.
I have a internet connection of 4000kbps and I want to split it in 2 but not equally.Something like 3000 and 1000 kbps for two PC's in my room.
I've searched for tutorials and reviews hoping I could find a way to do this with a router that can manage the bandwidth and I found the Asus WL-500G premium.
Can it be done from the menu in the image?
Hope you can help me.

As long as you connect your pc's through the asus.

That's is what I intend to do from the first place(just wanted to be sure).
My setup is adsl modem-->asus wl500gp-->PC's.

I assume that if I write only the IP and assign a limitation(without specifying the ports)that limitation will apply for all of the IP's ports, wright?

hello, I tested it with no port and it works:)
Note that on small downloads you may get unstable speeds:)

I tried it on 1000kbits wich is 125kb/s
and my download speed max is about 120kb/s:)
for upload speeds... well... quite to bad as it only accepts ports:(

UPDATE:
It also limits the speed of the internal network, like when you are uploading or downloading a file on the hdd of your router.

Thank you wpte.
To tell you the truth I really don't care about upload limitation.Just the download one.
Glad to see that it works for real.
