Hello peeps,

I had some people trying to crack the password from my vsftp server (the one with the oleg firmware), and I was wondering it it's possible to block ip's for several minutes when they give the wrong password for a number of times.
Also I would love to have this option on dropbear.
But I have no idea how to do it, it's quite a nice security feature you know;)

ah verry nice, I understand the german a bit:p
does this also work for ftp? as the ftp client opens a new connection for every file upload/download:rolleyes:

well... I tested it.
for ftp it defenately doesnt work:rolleyes:
and I can't even connect to my server with ssh atm:p
