hi, i tried to install firmware 1.9.2.7-9 and 1.9.2.7-10... but it didnt work somehow to connect via pppoe. anyway, 1.9.2.7-8 works fine.. does somebody have similar troubles? or some advice?

ok, i found out so far that it has to do with dns server configuration.
with the old firmware from oleg i was able to use automatic dns server configuration... with firmware above 1.9.2.7-8 i have to do the dns servers by hand.
is there a way to do it automatic again?
I hope someone that uses the .9 or .10 would be able to help me. I did upgrade my firmware from .8 because the newer one would have the built in samba support for vista.
the problem is, when i boot up my harddrive that is connected to the wl500-gp v1, the ftp, samba(network drive) works. but after several minutes, that function wont work anymore. but if I check it in the console by typing df, it's there.... I can even browse the /opt (hd) directory and everything, but the samba and ftp wont work anymore not unless I do a reboot on the harddrive by turning it off and on again. then again it will work for several minutes and back to its original problem.
help? anyone? pls? thanks!
btw, I did the whole thing when reflashing meaning back from square 1.
