Hi ,

I have 2 pc's in my network, using a wireless N card.
2 laptops and 1 pc are using a 54 Mbps card. Running on Win Xp.
Every day when I try to connect to the network with one of the 54Mbps machines, they can not find any wireless network, while the 11N cards do not have any problems .
Rebooting the router is the only options. I use the original firmware 2.0.0.1.
Does this sound familiar and did anyone find a solution.

Thanks

I have same problem also with oleg's firmware. This situation happens even more often. I have to reboot it few times a day when I disconnect from network.
Did you find any solution?

Never had this problem, however now my wl500w is dead I had a different problem:
I could connect with 54mbit, but I couldn't really connect with the N...
the receive speed of my laptop just instantly dropped to 1mbit, but I could send with 170mbit:confused:
I recommend to completely reset to factory defaults (just press the reset button for 5 sec while running the router)
and set everything again.
sometimes settings seem to implement in the router, wich are sometimes not really removable:(

Also a tip:
don't touch the advanced wireless settings, they often mess up things
and, Turn of 54g protection
:D

I had similar problems.
When I switched from auto channel selection to a fixed channel the problems disappeared.
