hallo everybody,

my question is, can somebody handle this?
i tried to install irssi with this packet http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/oleg/cross/stable/irssi_0.8.12-3_mipsel.ipk

any idears?

[admin@bollox /tmp]$ irssi
NO WINDOWS: -!- Irssi: Transliterations not supported in this system
NO WINDOWS: -!- Irssi: Invalid charset: CP1252
setupterm() failed for TERM=xterm: 0
Can't initialize screen handling, quitting.
You can still use the dummy mode with -d parameter

greetings

Can you give us the output of your "set" command? Perhaps there's something wrong with your TERM environment variable. It's supposed to be 'xterm' but I see some extra stuff there: TERM=xterm: 0. Maybe it's just irssi's way of reporting it, maybe it really contains that.

If your TERM is just 'xterm' then I'm not sure what the problem is. It works on my wl500gp. At least, it starts, I haven't been using it much.
