e220 and 500gp redial.

Hi,
I'm having troubler with the setup with a usb modem e220 and asus 500gp.
I've manage to enstablish a connection and so on, works very good.

But sometimes if there is a bad,over the air, connection the modem just drops out and blinks and seems not to have a connection.
Rebooting the device(500gp) solves the problem but is there a way to check the internet connection and restart,redial, only the usb modem ???

Anyone have any good scripts to share on this ?

Just enter webif of your router.
Menu USB Connection, User dial up config.
Here you can disconnect or connect without reboot.

Seems you have a low signal, try to find the best place with windows mobile connect and use the same place when modem is connected to your asus.
Further, a simple aluminum foil formed like a small sat-dish, mounted approx. 2-5 cm (depending to size) behind your E220 can improve your signal. Your sat-dish must look towards the next UMTS/GPRS transmitter. If you have an old sat-dish, you can use this one, promised if you do it in the right way, you will be impressed!
