Hi,
I've pretty much search the whole forum on how to compile a driver for a web cam on a wl-500gp.
I can't find any more info on this so I'm asking now if someone hase a good how to on how to do it ?

What I have done this:
1. wl-500gp with firmware WL500gp-1.9.2.7-8-USB-1.68.trx .
2. followed this http://wiki.wl500g.info/index.php/compilingcustomfirmware
3. I can compile a new firmware but how do I compile only a driver module ?

So what I want is to take http://www.rastageeks.org/ov51x-jpeg/index.php/Ov51xJpegHackedSource
and compile a driver to load.

Cheers
/P

May I ask you which webcam you want to use? Why not using a pwc supporting Philips or Logitech webcam?

Hi,
Well it's perhaps easier to buy a supporting webcam but I have several, three, webcams lying here . so I would like to use them first.
I think I have a philips cam that is supported but the resolution sucks , 320x280.

What I would like is to have atleast a webcam capable of 640x480 or greater native.
