I/O board to WL-500?

Has anybody connected an I/O board (like Velleman K8055) successfully to the WL-500 USB port? I know there are drivers for the board for Linux too, but could this work with WL-500?

Whoops, there was a thread about this in the WL-500g group, sorry. Now I only wonder if this works in my WL-500gP..
