Hello,
I had router hang on me a couple of times, once when I was still using original 1.0.4.6, second time tonight, with kfurge's custom 1.0.7.8.
When this happens, router stops responding, i.e. on 4 PCs, there is no connectivity to internet, no local LAN connectivity, puTTY doesn't work to router, http access too, neither does ping.
Actually, ping worked from 1 machine that's on DHCP, not from other 3 that have fixed IPs.
At the time, router was downloading 1 torrent.
Now, funny thing is that it looks as if it's doing something, relatively lot disk activity, or at least from time to time. Ready lit. When I press on/off nothing happens, nor when I hold it. Ezsetup button on the back also does nothing.
The only thing I could do is pull the cable out, and return it in couple of minutes. Then everything again seems to work.
I looked at the log and I couldn't find anything suspicious.
Would this signal hardware failure, or??? Does anyone have any idea, what could cause this?
Thanx,
Dalibor
