Hello,

Ive got the asus wl500g. Ive used it alot with only 1 pc wich is attached trough a cable.
The wan port is set on 100MBPS FULL.

Yesterday i bought a asus wlan 138g card. My neighbour has putted it in his pc. Since this time de wan port dies several times but when i look on the router the light is still on and communicating with the thomson chello internet modem. The channel fot wireless lan is set on 11 and 64bit wep encryption is set.

Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks.

I would especially DISrecommend the WL-138g for use

better to use is the Linksys WMP54g (version 2)

for dying wan port, try firmware 1.8.2.4 or higher

thanks. Ive putted the wan port speed on 10mbps and upgraded the newest firmware 1.9.x.x

It still wont work after a few hours the router reports the wan losts its ip address. Then i have to reset my router and modem and then it works again..
