Hi!

Something goes wrong with my router configuration and I want to reinstall My wl500gP. The question is: how can I reinstall Oleg's firmware? Or maybe there is a posibility to reset all settings to default?

Hi,

normally through the webinterface.

if that doesn't work, use the firmware restoration tool, which is on the disk asus supplied.. (one thing though.. it assumes your pc has ip 192.168.1.10 and your asus 192.168.1.1)

if that also doesn't work, search the board for the pin 9 trick.

Almost all working fine, but some futures - not. I installed and then removed some packges. And now I want to return to default configuration and start everyting over.

Hi,

just download the latest official firmware from the asus website.
Install this firmware just like you're used to install oleg's one.
(format your harddrive and remove partitions as if it was new. optional)
than you should have a device as if it was 'out-of-the-box'.

Or is there something I don't understand?
