Hy everybody!
I have a WL500g lying around here, and I use it especially for lan parties as a DHCP server (and Wlan acces point).
But also as a switch/Wlan acces point behind another router (who has a dns server). So this time dhcp is turned off.
When looking at this forum I saw that someone had connected a velleman kit.. and then had a couple of Digital I/O ports.
This is what I would need for what I want, but something smaller.
The purpase:
- DHCP server on/of -> 1 switch + status on 1 led
- Range of DHCP server/IP of router
- Wlan on/of -> 1 switch + status on 1 led
or
- Working with profiles -> indicated by status leds and/or matrix lcd ? + a button or two
Is this possible when I'm talking about hardware AND software?
I'm just a real noob at linux.. I can install it when using an installer and do a couple of commands in console.. but that's all.
