Webinterface not working

Hi!

I've bought a WL 500g. The wlan in general is working, but i have problems to use the webinterface. If I try to connect to 192.168.1.1 with the browser, i become an 404-error. I didn't change the ip of the router.
I installed the ASUS Router Utilities and the "Device Discovery" finds the router at ip 192.168.1.1, but if i press configure i get the same error.
At the beginning, when i installed the wlan-network the webinterface was working :confused:

please try with another PC, your pc could be infected by spyware or similair

also try to restore default settings using the RESTORE button at the back of the WL500g

If that does not work out, Please provide screenshots and more information about firmware version etc..

I tried a reset. then i was able to enter once in the webinterface. But now i'm unable to open the webinterface again :-(

i also tried with another PC

Firmware version... hmm... where do i see the version? i cannot use the webinterface :rolleyes:
but i did a firmware-update with the newest firmware available at the asus site.

What's you wlan ip range?
Can you reach the wl-500g from a wired connection?

My IP-range is from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.100
But i don't use the automatic ip assigment.
Every MAC-address has an ip assigned manually

I didn't try with a wired connection. But i will try it this afternoon
