cannot ssh to WL500gp from internet when used as access point

Hi all,
I have just bought a WL500gp.
I also have an ADSL modem/router, its IP is 192.168.84.1 and is configured as dhcp server .100-.199.
I installed oleg's firmware on the WL500gp, configured as access point, IP 192.168.84.99.
I configured dropbear. Using ssh from a PC in the LAN is working perfectly.
In the modem/router I enabled the virtual server and forward connections from port 22 to 192.168.84.99.
I do not know why, but I cannot access the WL500gp.
I have a PC running linux with sshd running. If I configure the virtual server of the modem to forward port 22 trafic to this PC running linux, I can login to it.
To resume, when I enter the IP of the PC in the virtual server of the modem, everything works while when I enter the IP of the WL500gp I cannot login from the internet while I still can do it from within the LAN.
Someone has an idea of what can be the problem?

Firewall blocking this port maybe?

Sorry to have bothered you.
It is now working.
Probably I restarted the modem in between the trials, I got a different IP and
the ddns was not yet updated. It is now working perfectly.
