Dear All

After running oleg firmware for several months, I would like to experiment with other firmwares.

I decided to use DD-wrt, and after checking it at their website I found out that my WL500G Premium is compatible with this firmware.

Now my question:
I am using transmission as a torrentclient for downloading torrents. Is it still possible to use transmission as an client?

Thanks

Problem is the support for USB port(s) in DD-WRT:D. No USB=No torrents!

I still want to try DD-wrt, It looks some more advanced than my current firmware ( no offence Oleg!!!) and it can use some more functions.

I found out that it is relative easy to use and USB HDD and that it is easy to find good tutorials.

My last question:
Can I upload this firmware the usual way (192.168.1.1 / System / Firmware upgrade, or should I use tftp/command line? I am not know with tftp and little known with command line

Thanks in advance

DD-WRT uses OpenWRT modules for USB. It works. No problems. Read Optware for example.

For firmware use restoration tool.
