My ASUS WL-500gP has two USB ports. I have updated to the latest Oleg's firmware 1.9.2.7-8. Currently two devices connected to it- the printer and the HD. I would like to connect another HD or USB camera and have more then two devices connected at the same time. Can I use USB hub for this purpose and if yes what model?
Thanks.

Well, to my best knowledge, any kind of usb-hub can be used. But consider to spend a few bucks more for a hub with an own power supply. When using too much devices without own power supply, you will get some unexpected behaviour from your asus.

There are some exclusions, e.g. PL2303 based usb-com converter doesn't work through [many of] external usb2 hubs. However the majority of the devices/hubs are ok.

If I have two HD connected, which one will be recognized as the FTP source?

Thanks.

With Oleg's fw it is possible to customize that. Look here: http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=11859

PL2303 works fine with my USB 1.1 HUB (some cheap hardware, i got it for free)
