Use of Web Interface?!

Hi,

I successfully installed the latest Oleg fimware on my WL-500gP.

However, if I configure things via the Asus web interface now (like FTP Server) it doesn't seem to have any effect anymore?!
Is that normal? Has the web interface lost its use when using Oleg's firmware and do you have to do everything via custom startup scripts?!

What functionality still works and what doesn't?

Please help me understand how this works,

Concrete example:
After I did the flashfs enable to activate my post-boot script (where I mount my USB stick), the built-in FTP server stops working.
(although it is set to Yes in the web interface)

Is there a way to re-enable it?
