Hi, i've running on white russian rc5.. (about one year old i guess) working just fine with transmission and all..

Just that i have a problem now when i activated wifi to allow devices connecting to router and internet..

I manage to activate it, no problem but when i try using the connection.. surfing the web or just try showing web-interface on the router it cant connect..

Tried several settings.. with or without DHCP for automated ip's and so on.. same thing..

Computer or cellphone.. same result.. login ok.. but nothing after that..

Should i bridge something maybe?..

Ive used WebIf interface this far.. newest stable..

Interfaces tab says:

Interfaces
Name Interface Interfaces Action
lan br0 vlan0 eth1 Modify
wan vlan1 vlan1 Modify
wifi Modify

Settings:

wireless mode: Access Point
G-mode protection: On
802.11b+802.11g
Channel: Auto
Encryption: Off (for now.., just dont work anyway.. so no worries i guess)

Mac-filter list: Disabled

To be clear.. LAN connections work fine.., with WLAN cant even reach router web-interface.. so no DNS probs or so..

When checking Status --> wireless i can see:

Addresses Names Times
MAC IP DHCP Hosts Idle Connected RSSI Authenticated Associated Authorized Features
00:04:E2:C8:C3:0C 00:00:03 00:00:03 0 yes yes no none

Authorized: No

Maybe this is the probl.?.. tried to "Allow" it in MAC filter mode.. but still same status, Authorized: No..

any clue?

Fixed it, finally!

All i did was adding another VLAN under the VLAN tab.. strange..

but it works fine..

Damn.. i messed with some functions

I enabled a separate WIFI-LAN and created VLAN2..

now my router wont get any WAN ip.. tried to fix this.. restoring all settings like they was bfore.. but that doesnt seem to do it..

VLAN2 is still showing.. and no way to get it away..

any clue?
