Cannot delete Files/Folders !

Hi 2 all!

I am using WL700gE with original 1.0.7.8 Firmware.
and I don't want to change this...

My Problem is that i copyed some Mp3 Music to the Music Folder for the Itunes Server in my WL700gE.
Everything works fine except the fact that i am unable to delete these Folders.
The Folders with the Mp3 music seems via Webinterface empty and I can NOT delete them.
Meanwhile I tried all.. delete via FTP different Share Management settings, different User Management settings, tried PBSA, tried UBSA, NO results....
directory is empty for WL700gE and cannt be deletable, but via WebInterface WL700gE says "Directory not Empty"!
Also tried to disable Media Server.

Any Suggestions for my Problem ?

you could telnet to the router and delete the files...

Logging in over telnet should be possible is enabled in the 1.0.7.8

then go to the dit what needs to be removed

cd /dir-to-remove
rm -rf dir-to-remove

download putty (google it)

with the program telnet 192.168.1.1 (the ip of your router)

username: root
pw: empty

then to the folder that you want...

cd /shares/MYVOLUME1/myshare1 (or that share that you have)

then the command from back2basic

rm -rf dir-to-remove

Finally worked, but i could not delete the Dirs direct via PuTTy, had to rename via WebInterface first!

I've had a similar problem with my External drive. I've found that if I cut/paste the files or folder onto my computers HD then I can delete them no problem. Alternately, if you have mounted your Asus or External HD to your computer's HD you can drag the file/folder from asus HD to your HD. Then I can delete these files/folders no problem.
