Can I let WL-500g as a repeater in client mode ?

Hello,

I have 2 APs in my house (LEMEL WLG640 & ASUS WL-500g).
There's no WDS in LEMEL WLG640.

I have installed OLEG 1.9.2.7-8 custom firmware in WL-500g and set it in client mode to connect with LM-WLG640 successfully.

I assume that WL-500g can repeat the wireless radio wave in this way, but it seems not.

Can I let WL-500g as a repeater in client mode? Or it just runs as a repeater in WDS Hybrid mode?

Can I set up WL-500g as a repeater without using WDS?
Because my another AP has not WDS feature.
