I've noticed that tha latest firmware from oleg has also a download for the WL-700gE. Have somebody tried it?

If you look carefully, you'll find that it's a firmware not for WL-700gE, but for 'WL-700g'. It's Oleg's invented name for WL-700gE with 8Mb flash soldered to it.
