Which site(s) are good to use with ipkg? I just can't open http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/unslung/wl500g/? is it just temporarily down, or...?

I use http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/oleg/cross/stable/, but actually is down, like the entire www.nslu2-linux.org website.

OK, do I need to replace location from my post with yours, or just to append your location to ipkg.conf file?

I use WL500gP with Opt-Ipkg and latest uCLib, and this is the right rep for this combination. Not sure with your configuration.

The repository QMax wrote is more complete and newer. However, if you switch to it you have to reinstall all ipkgs

If you have other packages installed, you need to reinstall it ALL using exclusively the repository i posted.

Yeah i read that. ipkg list_installed is giving me that just
ipkg - 0.99.149-2 - lightweight package management system
Successfully terminated.
So I guess it won't be much trouble to switch to new source.

Anyway do you maybe know how long the server is going to be down?

OK since you're here, two more questions:

1. which torrent client and web frontend do you recomend me to install and does it have some tutorial
2. is it possible to install java on the routher?

tnx!

Sorry, no replies for both questions.
I do not use torrent (but i should suggest Transmission), and no experience with java.

Did you updated to ipkg-opt_0.99.163-9_mipsel.ipk and uclibc-opt_0.9.28-12_mipsel.ipk too ?

They are both necessary to run apps from the new repository.

Don't forget to ipkg update and upgrade.

Yeah I removed ipkg and did ipkg.sh update, ipkg.sh install ipkg-opt.

Now it works!!!
