The DMZ is not worked

I assigned my pc 's local IP address to the DMZ setting,but I didn't feel it work properly, because my computer can not make a successful video conference with MSN messenger unless I use private :confused: :confused: dial-up connection

DMZ is not needed for this, it already works out of box..

could be broken by modifying stuff..

do you mean if I reset the router to default setting, it will work? but I trid this many times, still cannot establish a successful msn video conference connection

perhaps there is something wrong with your own configuration (pc, adsl router)

btw, usually, on the msn messenger advanced connection info, it will display the MSN connection info, the WL500G is different from the other, it shows the internet connection through a non-upnp synmetric nat"(something like that). while the PC connected with the other wireless routers, it displays my PC connect to the internet through a Upnp-restricted NAT. with the router I can make a video conference without any problem

so it does work?

my MSN shows nothing on the advanced connection tab.. no special settings required at all.. (msn7 beta)
