Bekijk de volledige versie : Updated to 1.9.2.8 ... or not ?!?
Uh... I just updated to the brand new 1.9.2.8, but I'm not sure if it actually worked (using the asus restoration tool). the upload went fine, the device is operational, but I have several nvram variables still set to the previous 1.9.2.7-7g. A nvram shows gave the following output
* boot_local=1.9.2.7-7g
* firmver=1.9.2.7
afaik the flashing of the firmware does not overwrite nvram, but doesn't this cause some confusion to the system ?
how do i check if the upload went fine ?
Thanks!

I tried 1.9.2.8 and it looks like it doesn't work completely: for example: dropbear, ftp is not working for me, samba root folder is set to /.
So I'm running the older 1.9.2.7-7g...
