Well, after fiddling with a million things, the situation has gotten pretty grim with my friend's router.
1) I've updated it to the most recent of Oleg's firmware hoping that if I did, I would be able to connect with a password. It didn't work.
2) When disabling the password, I was then able to connect.
3) My friend also can't connect to my wl-500g which has no problems at all.
4) It has gotten to the point where he now needs to connect directly to the router in order for the internet to work, wireless doesn't work at all for him or on other laptops (even without a password established).
5) Have tried resetting, no help.
PLEASE HELP ME!
