how to Install Transmissions' New version??

I have installed my asus using this great tutorial

ip[admin@myasus root]$ ipkg list_installed
transmission - 0.82-1 -
[admin@myasus root]$


How can I install the new version ?
Cos by doing ipkg update it will erase my configuration

ipkg update
ipkg install transmission

[oleo]

Transmisison will not erase your configuration during upgrade!
It will always ask you what to do with /opt/etc/transmission.conf

Use ipkg update and ipkg uprade for package upgrade!
