The problem is like on 7.07 fw from here: http://wl700g.homelinux.net/drupal/?q=node/139

after changing root to hdd my wl-700ge isn't able to boot properly when the power cord has been removed for several hours. I can't ping the box and the only way for me to bring it back alive is to flash the openwrt firmware image once more. Has anyone an idea what the reason for this strange behaviour could be? When everything is set up and I issue a 'reboot' in the console the router boots normally. But as soon as the power cord is removed for a while the whole trouble starts all over again. Any help on this would be very appreciated.

and it was here too: http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=12774

Now i have 2 questions:
1. Now i have a brick, how i can alive it?
2. How i can fix that problem? Or find to way out?

Hi
When it boots after the powercord has been out does the ready light goes off??

maybe it is because hasn't spinnup completely so it can't mount the filesystem

maybe you try to let it sleep 10 sec before mounting the hdd

My wl700 that was in use for testing really died :( :(
but last week I backuped all my data from my other wl700 (400gb)tommorrow afternoon I'm gonne install kamikaze 7.09 and I'll postback if I ran in to some problems on boot

I really want to get sabnzbd get to run on my wl700

just flash a nvram-clear.trx , that should be enough to recover
