Bekijk de volledige versie : wl-500g throughput
What throughput can I expect with the WL-500g? Will it be able to handle two or three 10-15Mbit multicast channels (TV) in addition to 4Mbit general traffic, or will it choke completely?

max achieved (could not reproduce this) is around 4megabyte/sec
this was probably in router mode and not in home gateway(nat)
i'm using home gateway(nat) and my max speed is 2,5megabyte/sec (over WAN port ofcourse)
Assume it can route 3.5 MB/sec in total.
Maximum i've seen is approx 2,8 MB/s with AP-Mode, 54Mbps stable, WPA/TKIP over wireless.... with a 5 GB File.

If i have a internet speed of 20Mbps downstream en 1Mbps upstream
so that is 2,5 Mega byte per second /2500 kb/s.
Is that possibele with the asus wl500g i use a cabel modem (chello) and they gona put up the speed like i mentiond above.
Some people say that the max over the wan port is 10 megabits but i hope it is more (like 100 megabits max).
Who nows the answer or is it the max i read a couple of threats back ?.
