Using router as a man-in-the-middle

Hi,

My employer allows Internet access only by proxy, and some sites are banned. I'm not talking about stuff like pr0n, but also some useful sites (media, programming).

I'm thinking about using the home wl500gp router as a man-in-the-middle machine, but I don't know where to start. I'm not thinking about using it as a proxy (I can't use it since I already have one at work), but rather like a web server that fetches the links I send him.

Ideas ?

You could use lighttpd as a webserver and CGIProxy or PHPProxy (I prefer CGIProxy) to fetch the Websites
