I have loade olegs latest firmware and set up the wlhdd to run Twonky Media. Everything went fine until I got to the Samba set up. i now have this working and when I select start/run and paste in \\192.168.1.3 I can see the shared drives. 2 things. No 1 When I try to map these shares in network neighbourhood they don't appear. No. 2 When I go to the WLHDD admin pages in my web browser it takes ages to load and usually times out the first few times. What have I done?
My WL-HDD is set to 192.168.1.220.
It is plugged into my wifi modem router.
The address of the router is 192.168.1.1.
I have some sort of conflict I think. I have tried to reset the WLHDD to get ip automatically from the router's dhcp server. Although it shows this correctly as 192.168.1.3 it will not change from 192.168.1.220 and will only allow me to log in as this on the config page or through putty.
As the server is taking ages to refresh and not accepting the change can I do it through putty?
