hey people
i would like to host my site, using a pendrive and my WL-500g router, but can't figure out how to do it. searched this forum and google but i'm completly lost.
my first problem is that i cannot connect with the router using telnet i'm allways getting connection failed on port 23.How can i solve this problem please?
(using start -> run -> cmd -> telnet -> o [routerIPaddress]:23)
secondly i can't figure out where to type in the code. in a file, in the telnetclient where ?
Do i have to save some files on my pendrive to get my webhost working? if yes what files do i need to store on my pendrive
ADDITIONAL INFO:
My PC operating system is Windows XP SP2
Router Model: WL-500G
Firmware Version: 1.8.1.9 (I never upgraded the firmware)
1GB Pendrive - FAT32 file system
Click Here (http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=1457) to view the source i found if its correct
well can someone explain more clearly how to setup my webhost pls
last question: will it then be able to support php, .aspx and SQL driven databases ?
