i need help...please :( for ext HD.

I feel like the Howto is not precise enough for my noob self. Too use to clicking and going...Anyways I have Oleg's flashed on to the router and I have a 400gb ext hooked up to it. I followed the Howto up to the part of the VI...at that point Iam lost. I have not done anything else besides those things stated in th HOW to for the storage/samba etc... Now what is happening right now is that I can see the HD from the My network places. Before when i was using the regular Asus firmware i was able to see the HD no problem and get stuff from the HD that was connected to the router but now its nothing. So what I need to know is what i need to do to start being able to use my HD from the router. Please someone help. So someone write a code or something that would push me along to letting me use the HDD.

You need to make the drive into a linux EXT3 partition first, then program the oleg firmware to mount the partition when boot.
Then program samba to share out the drive.
