Samba 3 Install problem

Can someone write a step by step guide in how to get Samba 3 installed and configured for the WL500gP?
I am currently having lots of trouble trying to install it.
It keeps coming up with an error of:

-sh: /opt/sbin/nmbd: not found

I don't know what to do anymore...
