New ASUS WL-330gE

What about custom firmware support for this device?
It has an bcm5354kfbg processor and the cd came with the gpl sources (toolchain.tgz + WL330gE2009_GPL.tgz).
Can anyone (oleg :) ) integrate it with custom firmware?
The readme.txt said:
Install GPL 2.0.0.9
#cd /root
#tar zxvf WL330gE2009_GPL.tgz

Install toolchain
#mkdir /root/broadcom/opt
#ln -s /root/broadcom/opt /opt
#cd /opt
#tar zxvf toolchain.tgz

Update environment variable $PATH:
1. add following paths to /etc/profile
/opt/brcm/hndtools-mipsel-linux/bin
/opt/brcm/hndtools-mipsel-uclibc/bin
/root/broadcom/tools
2. update $PATH
#source /etc/profile

Build WL330gE firmware image
#cd /root/broadcom/src/router
#make image-WL330gE

When popping up the Broadcom Linux Router Configuration window,
select "Exit", then select "No" to use default package configuration.
When popping up the Linux Kernel v2.4.20 Configuration window,
select "Exit", then select "No" to use default kernel configuration.

Finally, check firmware images in /root/broadcom/src/router/mipsel

You mentionned toolchain.tgz + WL330gE2009_GPL.tgz
Where can I find these files? :confused:

I could spot a new version of the GPL'd sources at http://support.asus.com/download/download_item.aspx?product=11&model=WL-330gE&SLanguage=en-us (in the Other section).

From that webpage, I think that the file http://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/WL-330gE/GPL_WL330gE_2011.zip
will allow me to get the sources, but I still miss the toolchain, and I don't have the CD.
Is there any location where I can download the toolchain.tgz file?

Did you successfully rebuild the firmware and upgraded to it using the web-based firmware upgrade procedure?

It seems that version 2011 is all-in-one.
I have the toolchain from the original drivers CD but that is for version 2009.
Or it can be the same toolchain.

Very good!
Using the toolchain and the 2011 GPL source code, I could manage to get a firmware running on a WL330gE (trx format), using the normal web upgrade procedure.

I used tftp command.

When i start to reboot Wl-330gE, and then TTL=100 appear
type like this..

C:\tftp -i 192.168.XXX.XXX put c:\WL330gE-1.9.2.7-10.trx

and succeeded finally.

oleg firmware is not compatible with wl-330ge!

Download 1.9.2.7-10 (2008-03-30)
IMPORTANT: This firmware no longer supports original WL-500g/b/bv2/WL-300g/WL-HDD units: hardware vendor no longer support BCM4702 CPU. Use 1.9.2.7-9 instead. Changes:

1. Updated WiFi module to latest (4.150.10.16) (from the WL-500W 2.0.0.1 firmware)
2. Added support for WL-500g Premium V2, WL-520gU, WL-330gE units and added separate firmware builds for WL-320gE/320gP
