Some of you may find this strange but... I am actually looking for something that would allow Samba to auto-unmount the USB drive attached to my WL-500G when it's not used for a certain time, and then re-mount it whenever someone tries to access it.
The USB drive has a sort of "standby" mode when it is not used, but because Linux on the WL-500g keeps it mounted, it's always on, and warm and unnecessarily using power.
Has anyone ever come accross something that does this or something similar?
Thanks,
Char
