Gosh, I can't get any p2p soft to work

I've installed 1.9.4.0 Beta..... but whatever I do, neither emule nor exeem are willing to work.... I have NAT virtual dmz running, forwarding all incoming traffic to an attached server.... emule and exeem are running on another machine... I've tried to set portforwarding so that requests on the required ports get forwarded to the other machine but without any luck.
Maybe I'm just doing something wrong? Can anyone please give me a detailed to-do discription on how to set up my wl500gx to support a virtual domain and another atached machine for emule etc?

Well, have done it exactly like cantare discribed it in the thread.... but portforwarding does not work. The problem seems to be that virtual domain is also enabled, forwarding everything to another server.... if Virtual dmz is disabled, protforwarding works. Had this problem also with the previous stable firmware release... so it does not seem to be a Beta-release issue!?

I have exactly the same problem.

I just flashed the 1.9.4.0 Beta firmware from ASUS. I factory reseted the previous settings, flashed, rebooted, and then inserted by hand all my old settings.

eMule keeps giving me a lowid, and testing the ports fail. It seems the Virtual Server function is not working at all.

There's a difference in the Virtual Server page, as you can see in the picture below.

I'm not sure how to place settings exactly, but it seems I should place the same ports both at Port Range and Local Ports, except if I would want to re-direct ports. Or should I leave the Local Ports blank, if it is to use the same as Port Range? The well known port examples do it like this. Please correct me if I'm wrong in any way.

Can someone explain what's wrong?

P.S.: I have DMZ disabled. Only thing I did say No was to StarCraft setting in Virtual DMZ - Special Applications. I set it back to Yes, but still the same.

P.S. 2: I didn't hard reseted the router after I flashed... going to try that and insert the rules again.

Got it working.

Seems you do need to make a hard reset after the firmware upgrade.

Just did it, inserted the eMule ports, and it works.

So, what I read around here, that you don't need to "clean up" the settings if you upgrade from 1.8.x.x, is false. If I'm not mistaken, it's a recommendation from ASUS...

Well, lesson learned. Always do a hard reset after a firmware upgrade, and go through the trouble of setting up again. Saves lot of grief.
