vsftpd and ssl

HI is possible tu run ssl on vsftpd?
I have created an SSL key, but when I turn on SSL in the vsftpd.conf, I cannot connect to the server. I says, SSL is not compiled:
[R] Connected to ftp
[R] 500 OOPS: SSL: ssl_enable is set but SSL support not compiled in
[R] Connection failed

Is possible to compile vsftpd with SSL?
