Lightbulb Goodbye Asus Wl700ge and hello Freecom Storage Gateway WLAN

Saying goodbye to my Asus Wl-700ge as its not as what it boasts to be.
I'll leave that for you to decide.

If anyone wants to know what the Freecom is capable of doing, see link below.

    So long Asus people!

Dunno if you're just trolling or not, but I'll bite.

I don't think your box is any better. The S-ATA migh be nice, but the fan stinks.

I'd still stick with the WL700G. Have fun.

So they added WLAN card to FSG-3? Note that there is also Optware package feed for FSG-3.
    See http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/op.../cross/stable/

But for the firmware with WLAN card I do not know if there is some possibility to have both WLAN and storrage? Time will show.

I choose the Asus to do backups with rsnapshot. I would not buy any NAS without the NFS protocol.
