    Asus WL-500G Premium * 802.11n and MIMO?

    Well......
    I heard that some routers with the 802.11g will be able to use 802.11n with a new firmware. I would like to know if is possible OLEG do something about this.
    I know that Asus have a router that is able to work with 802.11n anda MIMO technology (Asus WL500W).
    The question is if Asus WL500gP will be able to work with this technology with a new firmware.

    Hi,

    i dont belive the wl500gP is able to do that.
    Because the WiFi Chipset does not support the n-standart.

    Ander there are also only 1 antenna.
    WL-500gP => 1.9.2.7-7g (2007-04-06)
    Running: thttpd, php 5.1, vsftp, rrdtool

  3. You can replace nini-pci card with draft-n and add two more antennas and it will be able to operate
