    How to release port forwarding

    Hi,
Some clients of my WL500gP have a nasty habit of claiming ports. They are kept in memory and can be seen in the Port Forwarding chapter. How do I release those ports without doing a clean install/factory reset of the router? It seems they are kept in memory even though the wireless client on that IP client already has switched to another IP. The forwarded IP is no longer in use.

    Anyone?

    Disable UPnP.

It does the job temporarily. After disable-restart they are gone. When when set UPnP again to enable they are back.

Do not use UPnP. That's it. This is most insecure thing ever.

Yes, I know. I'll give it a try how it works out on the connectivity of my clients in the LAN.
