Happens to me, too. I can't find anything specific, that causes that.
Strangely enough, sometimes the same torrent works, when starting
the download over the web interface.

Hi,
When I try to make a download using "download manager" in the router or using the windows tool, I get allways the same error with all king of files.
Invalid URL
Type: UNKNOWN
Error: sock error
Does any one knows why I get allways this error? Is there any solution?
Thanks

Hi
I am thinking of upgrading the firmware of my newly bought wl-700ge to the custom firmware which has telnet access. If I upgrade to this custom firmware, can I still use the ASUS download manager for Bittorrent, http and ftp download? Also will the photo album feature still available using the ASUS Photo Album Exporter?
Thanks for the help in advanced
Hi
Can I also check if I can switch back to the original ASUS firmware after I flashed the custom firmware? This is just a fallback measure in case I need to send my router for warranty repair
yes, its possible to use everything from the original firmware and you can switch back to the original firmware.
