Angry Can't get WL500gx to client mode

    I use 2 WL500g at home.
    Both are connected by wires.
One acting as a router with AP (wpa-psk, TKIP), second one as testing machine for OpenWRT and VOIP.

    Anyhow, I have a third WL500gx.

I'd like to connect to the router in client mode.
I get through all the required steps.
None of them worked for me. I can't get the IP address using udhcpc -i eth1.
The eth1 is not in bridge.
When I use wl status, I get a message stating it is connected to my SSID and about the quality of signal, so I assume that the radio is working.
Turning the radio to AP and pluging the WAN interface works after reboot just fine. Also, other devices can smoothly connect to the AP and they get IP address using DHCP.

    I am completly lost.
    Can anyone help?

    Thanx for the tip, but...

Thanks, but I know how to use udhcpc :-)
But it seems like the device would not like to communicate over the wireless.
I also set the IP address manualy, also netmask and gateway etc., but nothing helped...

    Tried.
No help. Still it seems like not communicating over the wl.
When i try wl status, I can see I joined the correct SSID with the correct encryption - TKIP, but no packets are passing through. Even when I manualy set up the IP, netmask and gate, as I wrote before.

Have you tried to disable every encryption/authorization, just for testing?

    Red face Working without encription

When I turn off everything, it is working.
Also with WEP the connection is working.
But using WPA-PSK (TKIP) it fails to connect.
So maybe there is some bug in this one.
I will test to load OpwnWRT or original asus FW and test it...

Arrow Client mode or WDS ?

I guess you're talking about WDS and your last post is showing a known issue about 1.9.2.7 and WDS with WPA-PSK. Your solution may be found here

Well, I am not trying to run WDS, anyhow it is very simmiliar.
It seems to me that WL is unable to connect using WPA-PSK TKIP in client mode.
