sorry, I've forgotten to mention that all 3 devices are connected by ethernet cable, so this is no wlan problem
hi,
the configuration dbox2 - wl-500g (latest Oleg firmware) - wl-500gx (latest Oleg firmware) with usb-harddrive results in network speed problems concerning the reading of files from nfs-mounted shares.
Everything works fine when I connect the dbox2 directly to the wl-500gx.
What's remarkable is that everything works fine too when using the Oleg 1.9.2.7 5a firmware on the wl-500gx. Unfortunately within this firmware there is this 2 GB limit concerning SAMBA. Otherwise I would of course just keep this configuration and wouldn't bother you with my stupid problem.....Any hints?

I did some speed-tests dbox2 - wl-500g - wl-500gx - ext3 USB disk (writing and reading a 60mb file on/from a nfs-share) and the results are as follows:
Oleg firmware 1.9.2.7-7b: writing 70 sec, reading 360 sec (!)
Oleg firmware 1.9.2.7.5a: writing 71 sec, reading 63 sec
Oleg, as nfs-speed in writing slowed down for me since firmware 1.9.2.7.-6b: Which change from 5a to 6b could cause such a massive deceleration?? Any idea?
