physically reset nvram variables to defaults ?

    Hi..
I've erased an nvram variable on my wl-hdd

    nvram set lan_ifaddr=
    nvram commit

Now I cannot get the wl-hdd to pick up Ip address 192.168.1.1 when in failsafe mode

Is there a way to make the nvram reset return to its factory default when you have no ip address on the device ?

    TIA

Try reseting it by turning it on&off fast several times. Remove HDD first. There is a bug in bootloader, which could be exploited this way.

    Success

.. powercycling it rapidly several times.. and it picked up ip address 192.168.1.1 and coul d be reflashed backto factory defualt using the flash.sh script

    Thanks
